Reassessment
The goal of this class is to achieve mastery in various scientific skills and concepts. Students have the opportunity to complete assignments, re-take tests, and revise projects in order to demonstrate a greater understanding of a science practice or standard.
Reassessment: the process of improving your performance (grade) on an assignment or test by revising your work, completing additional learning activities, and demonstrating new learning.
- All work due 1 week before the end of the semester

- Re-do the assignment and resubmit in class (or on Canvas if originally completed on Canvas)
- Re-take the quiz on Canvas

- Let Mr. Bachmeier know that you would like to reassess
- Complete and/or correct the study guide for the test
- Go over your study guide with Mr. Bachmeier when completed
- Complete test corrections for every question marked incorrect or scored lower than "4" on the original test
- Use a separate sheet of paper from the original test
- Write a complete sentence response to each missed question
- Re-draw and explain any diagrams
- Share with Mr. Bachmeier when finished
- Go over your corrected work with Mr. Bachmeier
- Re-take a SIMILAR Test
- Same content, different questions
- Completed before or after school (check with Mr. Bachmeier if you need an alternative time)

- Complete or correct the original work
- Make revisions and additions in a different color, or mark with sticky notes
- Re-submit the work within the grading period, with the original evaluation attached
